About the course: Introduction to Photography is a mix of practical understanding of the controls of the digital camera and an introduction to the possibilities for personal expression that photography offers.
Students are taught how to ta......ke charge of the camera and to make use of its controls as a medium imposing a creative point of view on their subject matter. In the second half of the course, students explore a self-assigned theme of their choosing under the coaching of lecturer Mark Lyndersay, applying technical control to the delivery of a fully realized concept.
